Wingless-type MMIV integration site family member 4 is a secreted protein that in humans is encoded by the Wnt4 gene. By fluorescence in situ hybridization, gene was mapped to chromosome 1p35, a location consistent with the results of radiation hybrid mapping. The WNT gene family consists of structurally related genes that encode secreted signaling proteins. These proteins have been implicated in oncogenesis and in several developmental processes, including regulation of cell fate and embryogenesis.
The stated application concentrations are suggested starting amounts. Titration of the Wnt4 antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.
An amino acid sequence from the C-terminus of human Wingless-type MMIV integration site family member 4 (HALKEKFDGATEVEPRRV) was used as the immunogen for this Wnt4 antibody (100% homologous in human, mouse and rat).
After reconstitution, the Wnt4 antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20oC. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
