Description

VPS53 is a protein with sequence similarity to the yeast Vps53p protein. Vps53p is involved in retrograde vesicle trafficking in late Golgi.

Application Notes

The stated application concentrations are suggested starting points. Titration of the VPS53 antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.

Immunogen

A portion of amino acids 111-140 from the human protein was used as the immunogen for the VPS53 antibody.

Storage

Aliquot the VPS53 antibody and store frozen at -20oC or colder. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
