Alpha-N-acetylgalactosaminide alpha-2,6-sialyltransferase 2 is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the ST6GALNAC2 gene. ST6GALNAC2 belongs to a family of sialyltransferases that add sialic acids to the nonreducing ends of glycoconjugates. At the cell surface, these modifications have roles in cell-cell and cell-substrate interactions, bacterial adhesion, and protein targeting.
Optimal dilution of the ST6GalNAc II antibody should be determined by the researcher.
E. coli-derived recombinant human protein (amino acids Q32-R374) was used as the immunogen for the ST6GalNAc II antibody.
After reconstitution, the ST6GalNAc II antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20oC. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
