Sodium/glucose cotransporter 1, also known as NAGT or SGLT1 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the SLC5A1 gene. This gene encodes a member of the sodium-dependent glucose transporter (SGLT) family. The encoded integral membrane protein is the primary mediator of dietary glucose and galactose uptake from the intestinal lumen. Mutations in this gene have been associated with glucose-galactose malabsorption. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
The stated application concentrations are suggested starting amounts. Titration of the SGLT1 antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.
An amino acid sequence from the C-terminus of mouse Sodium/glucose cotransporter 1 (KMTKEEEEAMKMKMTD) was used as the immunogen for this SGLT1 antibody.
After reconstitution, the SGLT1 antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20oC. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
