REX2, RNA exonuclease 2 homolog (S. cerevisiae), also known as REXO2 and Oligoribonuclease, mitochondrial, is an enzyme which in humans is encoded by the REXO2 gene. This gene encodes a 3'-to-5' exonuclease specific for small (primarily 5 nucleotides or less in length) single-stranded RNA and DNA oligomers. This protein may have a role in DNA repair, replication, and recombination, and in RNA processing and degradation. It may also be involved in resistance of human cells to UV-C-induced cell death through its role in the DNA repair process.
Optimal dilution of the REXO2 antibody should be determined by the researcher.
E. coli-derived recombinant human protein (amino acids Q59-D199) was used as the immunogen for the REXO2 antibody.
After reconstitution, the REXO2 antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20oC. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
