Pre-mRNA-processing factor 6 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the PRPF6 gene. The protein encoded by this gene appears to be involved in pre-mRNA splicing, possibly acting as a bridging factor between U5 and U4/U6 snRNPs in formation of the spliceosome. The encoded protein also can bind androgen receptor, providing a link between transcriptional activation and splicing.
Optimal dilution of the PRPF6 antibody should be determined by the researcher.
E. coli-derived recombinant human protein (amino acids K61-K585) was used as the immunogen for the PRPF6 antibody.
After reconstitution, the PRPF6 antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20oC. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
