Description

LIM/homeobox protein Lhx6 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the LHX6 gene. This gene encodes a member of a large protein family that contains the LIM domain, a unique cysteine-rich zinc-binding domain. The encoded protein has tandem LIM domains as well as a DNA-binding homeodomain. The protein functions as a transcription factor involved in embryogenesis and head development and is highly expressed in neural crest derived mesenchyme cells. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms.

Immunogen

An E.coli-derived human recombinant protein (C8-Y363) was used as the immunogen for the LHX6 antibody.

Storage

After reconstitution, the LHX6 antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20oC. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
