Kinesin-like protein KIF2A is a protein that in humans is encoded by the KIF2A gene. The protein encoded by this gene is a plus end-directed motor required for normal mitotic progression. The encoded protein is required for normal spindle activity during mitosis and is necessary for normal brain development. Several transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
Optimal dilution of the KIF2A antibody should be determined by the researcher.
E. coli-derived recombinant human protein (amino acids A2-L706) was used as the immunogen for the KIF2A antibody.
After reconstitution, the KIF2A antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20oC. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
