Description

Histone acetylation and deacetylation, catalyzed by multisubunit complexes, play a key role in the regulation of eukaryotic gene expression. HDAC1 belongs to the histone deacetylase/acuc/apha family and is a component of the histone deacetylase complex.

Application Notes

The stated application concentrations are suggested starting amounts. Titration of the HDAC antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.

Immunogen

A portion of amino acids 402-430 from human HDAC1 was used as the immunogen for this HDAC antibody.

Storage

Store at 4oC for up to one month. For long term, aliquot the HDAC antibody and store frozen at -20oC or colder. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
