Description

FOXA2 is a transcription factor that is involved in embryonic development, establishment of tissue-specific gene expression and regulation of gene expression in differentiated tissues. Is thought to act as a 'pioneer' factor opening the compacted chromatin for other proteins through interactions with nucleosomal core histones and thereby replacing linker histones at target enhancer and/or promoter sites. Application Notes

Titration of the FOXA2 antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.

Immunogen

A portion of amino acids 380-407 from the human protein was used as the immunogen for this FOXA2 antibody.

Storage

Aliquot the FOXA2 antibody and store frozen at -20oC or colder. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
