CD34 Antibody [clone HPCA1/763] (V2998)

Description

CD34 is a possible adhesion molecule with a role in early hematopoiesis by mediating the attachment of stem cells to the bone marrow extracellular matrix or directly to stromal cells. Could act as a scaffold for the attachment of lineage specific glycans, allowing stem cells to bind to lectins expressed by stromal cells or other marrow components. Application Notes

Optimal dilution of the CD34 antibody should be determined by the researcher.

1. Staining of formalin-fixed tissues is enhanced by boiling tissue sections in 10mM Citrate buffer, pH 6.0, for 10-20 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 min.
2. The prediluted format is supplied in a dropper bottle and is optimized for use in IHC. After epitope retrieval step (if required), drip mAb solution onto the tissue section and incubate at RT for 30 min.

Immunogen

Recombinant full-length human protein was used as the immunogen for the CD34 antibody.

Storage

Store the CD34 antibody at 2-8oC (with azide) or aliquot and store at -20oC or colder (without azide).
