CAV2 is a major component of the inner surface of caveolae, small invaginations of the plasma membrane, and is involved in essential cellular functions, including signal transduction, lipid metabolism, cellular growth control and apoptosis. This protein may function as a tumor suppressor.
The stated application concentrations are suggested starting points. Titration of the CAV2 antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.
A portion of amino acids 11-44 from the human protein was used as the immunogen for the CAV2 antibody.
Aliquot the CAV2 antibody and store frozen at -20oC or colder. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
