Baculoviral IAP repeat-containing protein 6 / APOLLON is an anti-apoptotic protein which can regulate cell death by controlling caspases and by acting as an E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase. A portion of amino acids 4810-4844 from human BIRC6 was used as the immunogen for the BIRC6 antibody.
